Ten and two. We started our
Wednesday by going by Seyli’s so that she could go with us to the studies. Our first stop was at Delmy's and we had a
good study then Cesar and I went to study with Mr. Rivas and Charlotte and Seyli
went to Julia's. I told Mr. Rivas I was
somewhat disappointed because I had thought that since the new meeting place of
our church was just around the corner that he would be coming regularly and we
had not seen him very much. He said he
had been traveling a lot but would be attending more in the future. From
Charlotte, Seyli and I are renewing a study with Julia. She seems more interested and we are
prayerful for her decision. Seyli had to
leave after a few minutes, so I continued along with her. It was getting close to lunch and she needed
to prepare lunch for some of her family.
When it was time to depart, she sent some bananas with me. I walked up to Mr. Rivas to join Dwaine and
Cesar. After lunch Charlotte had her weekly study with Socorro and Cesar,
Arnoldo and I went to visit with Sister Ana.
Charlotte sent a Bible to Erica and she was very excited to receive
it. Ana was in good spirits and she read
some from her Bible as we studied. She
said she and two of her daughters would like to come to the ladies event on
Saturday and I said I could pick them up at 9:30 on Saturday. On our way to service we picked up Socorro. Cecelia came for her first time. Mr. Rivas came as well as Don Santos, Sonja
and Jimmy, and Jose, Kelly, Kiki and Nicole came. That was 10 visitors and 8 of them were
adults and two were young folks. I
taught on Hebrews 11 and afterwards we took a count of all the people who want
to go to Santa Catarina on Saturday afternoon and came up with a figure of 17, about
half of whom are visitors.
