Success with Sylvia. We went to our study with Sylvia at 9:30 and
although she was doing laundry, she stopped for a study on faith. We stayed about an hour so we wouldn’t keep
her from her work too long. We did
invite her to the Wednesday study and then, especially the Thursday night study
because it was relatively close to her home.
Dwaine had a study for the afternoon with Michael, Melvin and Eber. They were not available, but Mr. Rivas was home. He seems more interested of late and we are all prayerful for his decision. I went with Seily to Sister Ana’s. Of course it was raining, but not too hard. Sister Ana was sleeping, but got up for
us. Sonja was also nearby and listened
to the study. For the evening, Flor and
Ana Vilma did not come. While it was a
little rainy, I think it is more of an issue of her husband’s disposition and
the closing of the bus line close to 7.
Flor works all day every day of the week and it is going to be a
challenge to find the perfect time. The
good news is that Don Santos arrived and brought a friend, Ismael. Ismael was fairly young and seemed eager to
study. Dwaine gave an overview of the
restoration movement and did a study more directed at him, rather than Don
Santos. Although, a review for Don
Santos is always good. I continued to
prep the children’s classes for my absence. It seemed we had made 5 or 6 trips
to the copier to try to keep up to date with creating documents and
crafts. It will all come together.
