We did not have a lot planned for this morning so Charlotte wanted
to cut my hair since it was overdue.
Then I made a run to the market to get some ingredients for Charlotte to
make some soup to take to Mario and Sara as well as some for us. I also took the car to be washed and vacuumed
since it was really dirty and had not been washed since just before our group
came to visit a month ago. After I got
back from leaving the car I washed and dried Wicket and we gave her the first
haircut of her life. We had bought some
clippers at Walmart when we were on the way back from taking Clifton to the
airport. She was pretty good about it
but it was a slow process and she got really tired by the time I stopped to
pick up the car. She still needs a
little touching up but we decided to finish another day. After lunch (the soup
was soooooo good) we had time for a little rest and then headed to Juayua. First, we went by Cesar & Eliza's where
he called immigration to find that Charlotte's visa was still not
approved!!!!!! The lady said since we
are leaving the country for a month we could come by and get another renewal
for Charlotte for 2 months and pick up mine since it is ready. We are going to go tomorrow because that is
the only day this week we have available and next week we leave. Then we went to Mario and Sara's and had a
good study and visit with them and scheduled to go back again Friday after the
preacher's meeting. Then Charlotte and I
took Regina to the Doctor in Apaneca for a scheduled visit. We thought she might have an appointment and
that if all went well we could wait for her but it turned out she just had to
wait her turn so we waited as long as we could but she said she and Pedro would
be fine catching the bus when she finished.
Then we went back to Juayua for a 5:00 study with Raul and Anita. That ended up lasting almost two hours but
went really well. We had a safe trip
home but Charlotte said she saw some lightning.
Five minutes after we got the car in the garage the rain started pouring
down and is still going an hour later and the rain here makes cars so dirty
because of all the dust in the rain.
That was amazing. We had another
serving of the soup for dinner (still good!!) and got to skype with the
girls. Guess today was better. Let you know how immigration goes.
Ready for a haircut.
First haircut!
Plumb line! Love it!
