Zipping along
again. Thankfuly, Clifton was still
feeling good this morning because it was our last shot to go ziplining. The
weather was great and there was only one other group of 3 that went when we did
at 9:30 so with only 6 people we went through it all in about an hour. That was great because we got back home about
11:30 with time for lunch and some much desired rest before we headed out in
the afternnoon. We left for Ahuachapan
about 2 and stopped for a few items at Dollar City. Then we met Noe at a designated spot and
followed him to Turine. He stopped a
couple of times along the way and picked up folks and by the time he got to the
building his truck had several people in it.
There was a really good turn out and Noe spoke on the importance of the
influence a Christian has for better or worse on those around him. Then after visiting with the members for a
few minutes we headed out to the Centro congregation in Ahuachapan to hear Bro.
Fernando preach. There were lots of
people there that we knew and especially Clifton got to see lots of young
people he knew and have lots of photo opps with them. After the service we went out to dinner with
Noe and family, Osvaldo and family and Hector and a couple who have been
visiting here from Costa Rica. We went
to Bella Italia (Beautiful Italy) and they had lots of Italian choices. After Charlotte, Clifton and I had all
ordered Calzones Hector told us that the word calzone in Spanish meant
panties. We had lots of fun with that
one all night but the best one was when I could only eat half of mine and
Hector announced to everyone that I needed help with my calzone. You know what that translated to in
Spanish. It was almost 10 pm by the time
we got home and we were glad we had been able to tailgate with Hector on the
way back.
