We started with a trip to Salcoatitan for our
weekly meeting. It was small in number,
with only Dwaine, Cesar, Carlos, Riccardo and me there. We did confirm that there would be a man’s
event on the 27th, a youth event on the 28th and an
additional event with two other congregations on the 29th. Clifton is due to arrive here on the 24th
and his first weekend will certainly be a full one. Anyway, it was about lunch time when we got
home. Afterwards, I was going to study
with Amalia and Sonja and Dwaine and Cesar were going to study with
Rafael. Seyli, had gone to San Salvador
with Mario. His sister, who had donated
her kidney to Mario, was supposed to have a check to see if she needed back
surgery. When we went by there home,
their door was locked and so we went on to Rafael’s. I did a little door knocking along the way
and invited one youth to our next teen event and one man to the man’s
dinner. I was actually trying to give
out invites for the ladies’ event, but it was nice to offer something for
everyone. When I got to Rafael’s the men
had started and I went in to see if his wife would study with me. Adilia let me do a study and we looked at the
establishment of the kingdom. She is
very active in the Baptist church, but she has visited a ladies’ event. With those studies, we wrapped up our
outings. Dwaine and I went by Selectos
to pick up items for a Tuesday night dinner and Cesar left for Ahuachapán to
celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Azucena’s 40th wedding anniversary at Osvaldo’s.
