The day started out a little slow, but a good
opportunity to get a few things done. I
actually have a few students graduating from high school this year, so I was
working on some photo books. I am going
to try to organized 3 or 4 and have them sent to the homes of the
students. It isn’t as good as visiting
graduations, but it will have to do.
Dwaine worked on a lesson for Stephanie and I did a little cooking. It is a full time job to keep up with the
cooking. We left soon after lunch to
meet Bessi. She was not at home, so we
waited for a bit. Stephanie walked by
and she said she had to go out and couldn’t study today. Bessi probably got this word and tried to
reach us, but I did not have my phone with me.
We visited Reina and then went on to Katherine’s. She was able to study today and that was
great to get with her again. She has
been overwhelmed with school so we had not studied in a while. Afterwards, we came home and prepared to go
to the evening study. We don’t always go
on Thursday night, but we had not been able to go to a night time study this
week, so we wanted to go. So, we walked
to this study at Carlos and Linda’s new home.
He did a great lesson on division from I Kings 12. Afterwards, Rosamirdia asked is Dwaine could
take her to San Salvador tomorrow. Her
grandchild was born on Wednesday. The
mom was sent home, but the baby was sent to the hospital in San Salvador for an
unknown reason. So, Dwaine and Carlos
are going to head that way early and Linda and I are going to head to Rachel’s
home to determine the menu for the group from Franklin next week. Ladies from the church here will prepare the
food in our house and then take it to the community center close by for
lunch. They will go out to eat in the
evenings, so it shouldn’t be too hard.
The plan is to let people cook in our home, but we are going to join in
on the evangelism.
A bird joined us for our visit with Reina.
