Last
meeting. I got up at 5 cooking for the
teen girls. I had planned to cook frijoles, but they had some nice beetles, so
I decided to toss them. I started over
with a pizza and some chip and dip. I
had a can of peaches and baked some cookies.
We headed for Shucutitan about 8:30, and had to stop to get the chips at
a gas station for the ‘chips and dip.’
The service was really full and Dwaine had to stand outside for the
beginning until the teens went to class.
Afterwards, the girls worked on making some bracelets from a kit I had
picked up in the States. That was a lot
of fun. Bessy led a devotion and we sang
some songs. Oh, we left the cookies on
the kitchen table, but they were all very forgiving. Dwaine had to wait in the car after the lunch
part and we wrapped up about 2 in the afternoon. We got back to Juayua about 2:30. I rested for about an hour and then iced a
birthday cake I had made that morning for the October birthdays….Raul and
Zuleyma. We had a lot of visitors at
service in Juayua. Cesar said there was
29. We had a brought a car load and may have had one person not come for
space. We worked out additional rides
with Cesar for the next week. There were
a lot of children for we had two sister who visited from Apaneca. It was great to have a large group and it was
a nice night to share the birthday cake.
When we got home we said we were thankful the ride was just across town
and not all the way to Ataco.
Visiting Gekco in our home.
