Rough day for Wicket and who hit who?  Thursday are supposed to be our days to rest or to at least do the things we need to do.  This was definitely not a day of rest.  We started out with Charlotte cooking two loaves of bread and me washing a large load of dishes before 8.  We had taken up Wicket’s food and water last night so that I could do her spay today.  I had brought back my instruments from the States and gotten some anesthesia medicine for her.   The surgery went ok with very little bleeding since all her parts were small because of her age.  Charlotte took advantage of the time she was asleep to trim around her face and eyes.  She had some hypersensitivity due to the anesthesia and screamed loudly a few times as she was waking up.  She has moaned often and laid around the rest of the day but seems to be recovering ok.  When we felt she was waking up well we went out to the market.  We got 3 cantaloupes, 2 melons and a large pineapple. They sure were heavy getting them back to the car and took me about an hour and a half to clean and cut up all of them.  While we were out we were driving up a side street and a young girl ran into the side of our car.  We hit her with the side mirror and it flipped shut against the car.  Charlotte tried to ask if she was ok but she just seemed to ignore us and hurried on so we figured she was ok.  I told Charlotte I did not know who hit who.  After lunch Arnoldo came over to help Charlotte work on her stuff for Saturday and he has worked diligently all afternoon and now into the night.  He is going to be our first guest in our Juayua house tonight.  About 1:30 I headed out to Sonsonate to pick up some items she needed that we could not find in Juayua.  I went to Dollar City, Selectos and Freund which are all next to each other in Sonsonate but still was not able to get everything she needed.  She said she would make do.  It is now 8:30 pm and except for a break to fix and eat dinner she and Arnoldo have worked nonstop on getting ready for the seminar.  The two most time consuming items were a pillar of fire and pillar of cloud that they made using two large pieces of PVC pipe.
