New day off. This was the
first Monday since we had decided to change our meeting date to Tuesday and try
to have Mondays as a day of rest. We
wanted to try to have Socorro over for dinner since she had helped us to get
the house we are now in and we have not had her for a while. We checked her door several times during the
day but it was always closed and since she does not live there but only comes
over during the day that means she was not there. We had dropped her off at her house the night
she ate with us at our other house but that was the only time we ever went
there and since it was at night we are not positive of where it is exactly. We did go out about 9:30 and had a visit with
Kelly and Jose, in part because we were out of coffee and we buy it from
them. We only had a twenty so we said we
would take six pounds since we usually get 3 pounds for $10. After it was all bagged up Charlotte joked
that it should last her at least one day.
Then she said in truth that she sometimes has as many as 8 cups in one
day. After that we went by and had a
study with Celia and since by then it was about lunch time we just had a short
visit with Rafael, a man who lives right across the street from her who also
said he was willing to study. We told
him we would try to come back later in the week for for a study and he said we
were welcome anytime, that he would never promise to be at home but that if he
was home his door was always open. The afternoon and evening were pretty much a
rest day because we did not have any other studies scheduled and mostly just
stayed at home.
Two for the price for one?
