It is hard to believe we have now passed two weeks in
Ataco. Yesterday we mostly worked around
the house. Charlotte spent about 3 hrs.
ironing because we have no dryer and all our dress clothes get wrinkled. I changed out several light bulbs (Caleb had bought
some more expensive florescent bulbs and recommended I harvest those to take
with us when we move). I got on one chair then on a stool that I had put on
another chair. It made me nervous but I
made it ok. Then we went with Carlos to
look at another house here in Ataco that was for rent. We liked the house but it was on the very
edge of town and the fence around it was of no value for protection and I told
Charlotte I would be nervous at night. I
guess that leaves us with only the new house as a choice. I am going to go by there tomorrow to
reconfirm that we will take it. Last
night we had Oswaldo and Luzelana and their 2 sons over for dinner. Charlotte made homemade pizzas and they were
a big success. We had a great time. The last few times we had Skyped with Caleb
and Della it was late and little Charlotte was already asleep. Yesterday morning while I was out getting
some needed items for dinner Caleb skyped because she was in a good mood. Charlotte was a little sheepish (baaaaa) when
I got back home but last night Christina and Dan were babysitting while Caleb
and Della went out and little Charlotte woke up and Christina did close-up
skype for us for about half an hour. We
are so thankful for our wonderful family.
Today we are off to the three services in three places.
Welcome to our home, Osvaldo, Luzelana, Edwardo, & David!
