Wednesday had
been a day that Cesar and Dwaine went out and I went with Seily. Since Mario and Seily have returned to Santa
Ana, Dwaine and I headed to Briseida’s.
One good aspect of recent development is that Antonio moved his work to
his home. They put a cover over their
entrance and the landlord put in electricity.
So, he has some carpentry type work that he does at home. Since he was there, he joined in on the
study. He had good comments, but shared
he lacked conviction to go to services.
We have studied with Briseida for a long time, and at times Antonio had
sat in, but they do not come to services.
Briseida regularly comes to Ladies’ Events and sometimes to prayer
hours, but that is all. Hopefully with
his being home, we can develop more of a family relationship. For lunch, Carolina, Ingrid and Arnoldo
came. Carolina was finishing a study on
salvation and Arnoldo went with Dwaine and Cesar to the church building to study
with Eber, Michael, Melvin and Mr. Rivas.
Afterwards they did go on to Sister Ana’s for a study, but only for 15
minutes. She was still under the weather
with her cold. I went on to
Socorro’s. This study ended up going for
almost two hours. We finished up a film
we were watching and again studied baptism.
We had a carload to go to church with us and a good service. Kelly had requested to use the building on
Sunday for her sister’s graduation celebration, so I asked what I could do to
help. We talked in generalities and set
up a visit so we could talk more about it on Thursday.
Some new flowers from Omar and family
