Two for
two. We continued the study with Adalia
and Jennifer on faith. They are very
kind and bring up many prayer petitions.
We are prayerful that they will respond to the message as they attend
another church regularly. Next, we
headed to Claudia’s. He grandfather was
sick and Claudia and Flora Marina had to take him to the doctor. We walked on up to Kelly and Nicole’s to be
sure they wanted to continue studying on Friday morning. After lunch, we connected with Xiomara. First we went to Carla’s but she was not
home. So we went on to the family with
the kittens. Yes, she said she was
sleeping the previous day. But, she was
busy today and brought out about 6 or 7 kittens. She said in total, she had about 9
kittens. I narrowed the choices down to
2 and settled on an orange kitten….a male.
The surprise was that Xiomara also chose two kittens. We had no idea she was going to get one, to
say the least two! They sure were cute
and we laughed that we wanted to see her children’s reaction. So, we dropped off Xiomara and they were all
surprised. We went home and settled the
kitten in the bathroom and then back out to get Xiomara and Gisela to go to Blanca’s. It was a good study, also on faith and she said
she would try to go with us to Salcoatitan tonight. We were planning to support their meeting
with the Bica group rather than meet in a home.
We did pick up Blanca and Jorge and Ana Vilma. The service was very lively as the Bica group
did two song services and the preaching.
Everything wrapped up about 8 and we took Blanca home and are prayerful
she will continue to come and desire to change her life. At the end of the day, we had a funny thing
to happen. We got a call from Noe and he
said he had found us a kitten….a gray angora kitten. How funny.
Well, we said sure we would love to see it as we are sure we can find a
home for one. So, in the days to come we
will connect with Noe and see how this plays out.
Kitten that I chose.
Runner up....very sweet too.
Xiomara's two buddies.
