We spent the day Thursday cleaning the house and cooking,
cooking, cooking. You can guess who did
the cooking. Charlotte wanted to pick up
a few items to send back with the brothers for little Charlotte and our girls
so in the afternoon we went out to the Ataco shops for a little while. We went on the car because of her foot and
because I wanted to have the car cleaned and waxed again before the brothers
came because it had gotten pretty bad inside and out since the last time. So I
was going to drop her off after shopping and then go drop the car off and come
back. As we got out of the car at the
corner near most of the street shops Charlotte said she did not want to look
like a typical tourist. I told her that
was going to be pretty difficult. We
still did some bargaining because they always start high so there is room to
feel like you made a good deal. We found
some scarfs for the girls and a really cute El Salvador dress for Charlotte,
maybe those of you who go to Central will get to see it. Then I dropped the car off. When I picked it
up it sure looked great again- at least maybe for the weekend. About 6 as we were skyping with Christina and
Leanna (Leanna was spending the night with Christina) Brian and a friend of his
(Cesar) dropped by. So they got to skype
with the girls some. We sorta had to
chase them off because we were going to see Carlos and Linda’s new house at
7. We drove up there too because of
Charlotte’s foot and because it was pretty much dark by then and even in Ataco
we don’t get out on foot after dark much.
Their house was really nice and right beside another family who are
members here and very close to where the church meets right now. That means it is also really close to the Pentecostal
church that is directly across from the Ataco church so he said they got all
the entertaining music from the services.
We had a great visit but a short one since we, as well as Carlos, were
leaving Friday morning to pick up the brothers.
We got back home at 8 and I went on to bed about 10, but Charlotte
stayed up working on stuff till about 12:30.
Carlos, Linda, Carly and Brianna in their beautiful new home!
We are almost neighbors now!
