Cemetery visit. When
we got up this morning, we finished up our studies and decided to go for a
walk. When I was here with family, Caleb
had taken us to the cemetery in Ataco.
So, Dwaine and I decided to see if we could find it. It was quite a walk, but well worth it. It was very interesting. There were many mausoleums and small crosses
too. We read many of the histories and
then found one particularly coincidental.
In our preparation of one study,
we had read an article in the morning regarding the practice of the Pope to
change the word of God. One example
given in the articles was Exodus 20:4 & 5.
One of the mausoleums had an inscription regarding this verse. The gist of the inscription was that the
verse has been wrongfully deleted from the Bible and should be there. Later in
the day, we shared our findings with a lady we had been studying with. She was very intrigued by the findings. We thought it was a strange tombstone
inscription and it was strange that we stumbled across it on a day we were studying
this issue. After lunch, we went to
several studies: Katherine, Rosaria and the group study in the evening. While we were waiting for the group study to
begin, Rosaria passed and gave us a couple of plantains. I have learned to cook them and enjoy them a
lot, so it was a nice treat.
