Where did the morning go?
We planned a few hours for housecleaning and studying Saturday morning
before going to Juayua and honestly, I don’t know where the time went. It is
amazing how rapidly time passes. We left
the house about 1:30 to go to Juayua to do some visiting before our Saturday
evening class. Cesar and Regina had a
lead on a person who used to come to service and Regina thought she might have
a general idea of where she lived. We
struck out to find her and we did locate her house. She wasn't at home, but we did find her
uncle. He said he might come to service,
but didn't. However, since we have the
location, we will try to visit again to find the person we were looking
for. We had a general meeting to talk
about dates and contacts and pray about 4 o’clock and then our meeting with a
class on evangelism at 5. Cesar really
emphasized praying each day of the week for a person that we might share the
gospel with. He really emphasized Acts
18: 9 & 10 about not having fear and that God has people in Juayua that are
ready to hear the gospel. We prayed that
he will lead us to those individuals. Just
as we were leaving, I asked Pedrito, Regina and Pedro’s son of 14, if he wanted
to come home with us for the night and then go with the Ataco church for
service at the beach on Sunday. After
talking with his parents, it was decided that Kenya, his sister of 19, and
Pedrito would go with us! Dwaine called Hector to see if it was okay that we
added to people at the last minute. He
said that would be great if we had room in our car. Well…….at this point we had committed to have
7 people riding with us. That is quite a
crowd for our car, which just seemed to shrink in size over night. We figured with 9, something could work out,
so they came on home with us. It was great to have them come and stay the
night. We ate and ate and then played a
game of Blokus. We tried to go to bed
about 10:30 because we had to meet for our trip at 7.
