Transportation anyone. Today’s topic in English class was transportation
and community. At these beginner levels
we are just giving lots of vocabulary and then playing games to reinforce the
vocabulary. We did a Pictionary game,
sorting activity and a board game. It is
a challenge to change up the dynamics, especially with one class of 20. It was a good day and several of the kids
gave me hugs after class. They are so
sweet. It is exhausting to come up with
so little. Now give me some chemicals
and I can go to town on that. We had a
break between Salcoatitan and Juayua and I rested for most of it. I came down with a fever and some virus over
the weekend and it was making me tired.
That nagging headache just needed some rest. Juayua went well too for the afternoon and
afterwards I decided to stay home for our Monday night Bible study with Raul
and Ana. Dwaine went and he said it was
a good study and they said that Osvaldo would come next week and lead the
study. I would like to say I called it
an early night, but alas, Tuesday had a gambit of activities to plan for, so I
worked on that a while. Dwaine stays up
a lot with me too reading and getting lessons ready too. We are in the midst of many back to back
activities. That is rewarding and challenging. The coffee pot seems to always be on.
Dwaine took this shot of a nice looking beetle.
