December 15, 2015

Up, down and up.  Charlotte had continued to feel bad during the night and had only slept off and on.  She still got up at 4:45.  Amazingly, when I got up about 6 she was already in full swing of cooking bread and cookies for various purposes.  She said she did feel much better than she had yesterday.  She said she did not have time to go for a walk so I took Wicket around the block about 8 and gave her a bath when we got back home.  She is always so full of energy after her bath that it is hilarious.  At 9 Carlos arrived and soon after Cesar and Ricardo.  This was to be our last meeting of this year since we will be having our breakfast event next Monday and going to Turin to put on our event there on Tuesday.  We had a lot of planning to do about the class parties for the English and Values classes at the end of this week as well as the breakfast event in Salcoatitan Saturday morning and then Monday morning here in Juayua.  We covered a lot of subjects but finished up by noon.  We were expecting Nelson to come for a study at 2:30 but he never showed up.  Charlotte went to study with Socorro but she was not at home either so we worked some more on getting ready for classes and got to skype with Caleb and Della for a few minutes.  At 6 our landlord arrived with his wife and son.  We had a great study and as we thanked them for their time as they were leaving he said thank you for studying the Bible with us it was very beautiful.  To round the night out Yoli arrived to work with Charlotte on planning what they will do during the ladies breakfast here next Monday. When Yoli left, Wicket kept going in the side room and I said she must have found another scorpion. Well, the next second I walked back into the kitchen and there was another big one about two feet from where our feet were under the table.  AAARRRGGGHHHH!  I hope it is better when we move and I hope we don't get bit before we move!  We were disappointed about our afternoon studies falling through but still overall there were many blessings and lots to be thankful for.
