Good week. This morning at 9
Cesar and Arnoldo arrived to go with us to re visit some of the people Zuleyma
and Charlotte had visited last Saturday morning. We visited some with three different people
but only had one study so we got through early.
One lady who had requested to study was busy but we studied with her
husband and then as we were leaving Charlotte made an appointment with her for
the two of them to study Tuesday about 1.
After lunch I went to the English class and for the first time in a
while Nelson came. Then I came home and
brought Arnoldo and we had our study with Kelly and her two children at our
house. Jose has not been able to study
for a while because he has been working every Saturday for the past several
weeks. They said they would come to the
morning service tomorrow. She is also
going shopping with Charlotte this week.
We are praying they will get married this month as they had said they
were going to do and Charlotte hopes to talk with her about not waiting for
Jose to make a decision but rather trying to be a force for his decision by
being baptized herself. We went by Mr.
Rivas on the way to the 5:00 service and he was watching for us and ready to
go. We feel very encouraged about him
lately and not long ago we had not had any contact with him in weeks and had
pretty much lost hope for him. The
weather is nice but the wind is really blowing now. It was blowing so strongly during English
class and rattling the tin roof at Regina's house so much that it was difficult
to hear. The weather here is
amazing. It rained hard every day for
several weeks and then the rain stopped completely and the wind began and gets
stronger every day. We have heard that
it is really strong in January. It has
begun to blow creatures into our patio from the surrounding trees. Tonight as I
was bring the clothes in from the line outside I saw what looked like a good
size tarantula but it turned out to be a horse spider. It had lost a leg somewhere but could still
move really fast.
Friendly beetle
New pendant, but it wouldn't sit still for long.
Lost a leg or two.
Up close and personal...
