Visitors! Dwaine
had done some door knocking to hand out invitations on Wednesday morning and he
said that I was home sick. So, for the
afternoon, I began having some visitors.
While that was a great thing, it about wore me out. First, Kelly and Seily came over for a little
in the afternoon, so we had some coffee and a snack. I knew that Celia had said she would come
about 4 and I really needed just a few minutes to close my eyes in-between, but
that didn’t happenL.
Celia said her great grandson, who was about 15 got into some trouble with the
law, in the wrong crowd. The police had
already moved him 3 places in a week and she said they were roughing him up
too. We are in prayer about this. Because of this we had been able to have much
contact with Celia for about a week. Now
we understood why. Keep this young man
in your prayers. Well, I was thankful
for the visits, but I was so worn out
afterwards though, that I didn’t go to church.
Linda said that she would teach, so I let her go with it. It sure was a blessing to have her and
Arnoldo teach. Dwaine taught the adult
class. Clifton had worked and he went to
Caro Sucio to the main store where he is gaining some experience this
summer. It is a little over an hour’s
drive and he had left about 8:30 that morning.
He wasn’t back before church, so Dwaine called and they said they were
on their way. So, he arrived home about
7:30. I was beginning to get worried,
but it was just a long work day.
