Slowly recovering from the relapse, but none of
us felt really good. I still didn’t feel
like making the tea with the mustard seeds, but I managed to bake some cookies
during the morning for the Salcoatitan Ladies’ Event. Dwaine went by Sister Ana’s to tell her we
could pick her up. He also went to the
building to clean up the building. We
both got a short break to rest during lunch, as well as Clifton. We left out about 2:15 to pick up some
families here in Juayua to take to the ladies event. They had a really good turnout. I am not certain, but I think there were
about 17 or 18 visitors. We were short
on sisters though, so I did the MC part, lead the dynamic and prayed. Linda did songs and refreshments. They bought some tamales and added some rolls
and the cookies. Seily did the lesson
and afterwards I learned she had a migraine most of the night. I am sure she did not feel well. Linda also did the final craft and it was
really involved. She made a really cute
gift bag from some wrapping paper and ribbon.
It was a keeper craft. I had just
about finished mine and someone asked me for it. I’m not sure I have ever brought anything
home. It was fun to learn and I will
have to try on my own some time. When it
was over, we came home and rested for the evening. Clifton had not gone because he didn’t feel
well. He did work on a school paper
regarding his work experience to date.
