New Converts Class is on the way!
I am thinking I am on the mend. I
took my second dose of ‘natural remedy’….mustard seed tea with the little help
of honey. Since I felt better on Sunday,
I was thinking that I would keep on with the tea. We started with a meeting primarily to do
cover some of the final details for the campaign. We are down to a month and we are trying to
work on some final details. Afterwards, we
came home to work on cleaning and cooking to get ready for our first new
converts class. I went back out at 2 and
Seily and I found Reina home and Amaila.
We had a good study with Reina and her health was improving from the previous
week. She always opens her door for
study, but like several, does not want to take the step of visiting and
coming. She did ask some good questions
about repentance and making changes in her life. We are prayerful she will desire to make
changes in her life. Next, we walked to
Amaila’s. She was at least sitting up
this week. She is 87 and this virus has
really had a toll on her. We visited a
few minutes and prayed with her. Dwaine,
Clifton and I were excited that we would get a New Convert’s class going. Dwaine had been working hard on getting the
word out to everyone. We had a good
turnout, with everyone there except Mario and Sara. We knew Sara worked in Santa Ana and we did not
think they would make it. Otherwise,
everyone came, Kelly, Jose, Kiki and Nicole, Carolina and Ana. Cesar also came and Marina, Carolina’s
aunt. It was a blessing to get this
going. Arnoldo came and watched the
children for us. So, it all came
together and we pray this number will grow!
