Relapse….well, this was a ‘don’t feel good day.’ After 3 ½ weeks of this viruses, we are ready
for it to be done with. Dwaine said in
his mind he just willed himself well, but his body wasn’t cooperating. I couldn’t muster the energy to hardly will
anything. There is a hidden play on words
there. Dwaine picked up Nicole and Kelly
at 8:30 and we had a good second study.
I had a few interaction ideas for Nicole and I think that was good for
her comprehension. Afterwards, Kelly
said I needed to take some ‘mustard’ seeds as a home remedy. I was desperate, so she stopped in the market
to pick up the seeds and told me how to make it…basically making a tea with
them. I did not have the energy to make
the tea, so it got put on hold for the day.
I slept about 3 hours during lunch and then left for a study at
2ish. Angelica was not home and sad to
say, I was almost glad. I came back home
and went back to bed….at least resting on the sofa. Angelica is expecting and I was also glad I
didn’t expose her to this. Clifton also
was feeling so much worse this day with his cold so he did not go to work. Dwaine
worked off and on, but he didn’t have much energy as well. We had planned an out of town devotional for
the evening. We had two packed carloads
to head out for Apaneca, close to Rosario to go to the home of Sonja, the
sister of Regina. She had asked if we
could come to her home and visit and lead a devo. She also invited some family and
friends. Regina and Sonja’s mother,
Rita, has been very sick and she was able to come. Their brother Rolando, of 30 years, has also
been sick, but he was in the hospital.
He is severely diabetic and has failing kidneys. Some members at Central
helped Sonja last year with some needs she had.
She comes fairly often to the services at Juayua and is a Sister in
Christ. It was a good time of
fellowship. Clifton also had gone and he
drove back in the pouring rain.
