Packing them in. Today Clifton had to work so Charlotte and I
dropped him off at the storage building for the store and then arrived in front
of Seily’s house about 9. Cesar had not
yet arrived so we walked over and visited for a few minutes with Kelly and
Nicole. Kelly had an order to make 50 dresses
by next Monday for a group of girls here in Juayua for a special event. We didn’t stay long; we had gone by to ask
what night would be best for them and Jose and Kiki to take part in a new
converts class. They said Monday at 6 so
we will talk with the other new converts and see if that time works for them. Then Charlotte and Seily went to a new study
with a lady who had visited the ladies event for the first time last Saturday,
Claudia Veronica. Cesar and I went by to
try to study with Delmy. She was not in
but two of her sons were and they said they could study. The study went really well and I thought it was
a turn for the better because we have been studying with Delmy for a long time
and have sorta gotten to a stall. Next
we tried to go by Heber but he was out so we went up and had a short study with
Bro. Rafael. After lunch, Charlotte
stayed home and rested because she was still struggling with not feeling very
well. Cesar, Arnoldo and I went over to
visit Sister Ana. Often she is by
herself but today Carolina and three of her daughters were home and they all
joined in the study. It was great. At the end, we asked if any of them wanted to
go to the Wednesday night service and they said yes so Cesar said he would come
back to pick them up. At 5 I ran back
over to Salcoatitan and picked up Clifton so he would be home in plenty of time
for the service. At service time we went
by and picked up Arnoldo and Kenya and then went by and to get Mario, Sara and
their kids. They decided the car was too full, so Mario and Sara sent the kids
and they walked. When we got there Cesar arrived with all the folks from Ana’s
house, except Sister Ana. Miguel, Delmy’s
son, as well as Heber and a friend came.
Also Omar, his mother and sisters as well as Don Santos and the lady
Charlotte and Seily had studied with today, Claudia Vericona and her daughter
Mercedes. Between the brothers and
sisters who came and all the visitors it was probably the most people we have ever
had for a Wednesday night service, close to 40. It was a great day with a great
ending. It certainly is wonderful to
have so many people responding to the invitations and the studies. All 7 of our new converts were there and I
mentioned to the group that if we had the same group last Wednesday there would
have been 3 more visitors but instead tonight there were 3 less visitors and 3
more members of the Juayua church family.
