Sunday now starts with an early study with
Carolina who was recently baptized. I am
doing a 5 week study with her and she will also be coming to a New Converts
class that will start. She is very
punctual and eager to study. I know she
is a great example for her aunts and we are prayerful that they will also
desire to become Christians. We had a
great number at service and we are thankful that we are growing. It was especially great that Omar, Isela,
Emily and their mother, Xiomara, came. I
was feeling better this day and I was really thankful for the step toward
wellness. We rested during the break and
left about 3:30 to go to Salcoatitan. Celia said that she would go so we picked
her up first and then picked up Regina’s family. At Salcoatitan, there was a larger than usual
number also, but it rained hard. Linda
kept the children at the building in the back instead of going the distance to
the usual site for the kids. A lady has
let us use her enclosed porch for the children, but it is hard to get there in
the rain. I didn’t help teach for the
first time since January, but I was still feeling better. Afterwards, a young boy, Douglas, wanted to
be baptized. He was a neighbor of
Giovanni and had been studying. They
decided to do this at the home of Ricardo and Yoli in their pila. We decided to go on home. The roads to Ricardo’s home are very steep
and slippery with gullies in the rain.
With a carload we had doubts that we could make it in our low car. It was another blessing of growth.
Douglas decision to confess our Lord and be baptized.
Moth at our home.... this type means someone is to die in your home soon....
