For the first time in a long time, I walked
with Dwaine and Wicket for the morning.
I knew that Socorro was due to come back from her month long stay in the
States today, but I expected her to come in late. But as we were walking, we saw her. She looked great and said she had just gotten
back. And, she said, “This is Wednesday,
we must study today.” That was
great! We started with our usual studies
for the morning, but we weren’t 100% successful. Delmy was out, so Dwaine, Cesar and Clifton
went on the study with Eber. I had seen
Claudia Veronica earlier in the week and she said that she would be out
Wednesday. So Seily and I left early for
Briseida’s. She was out, so I decided to
go home for an hour and then we would try to go back to Briseida’s. When we went, she was still out. But, coming out of the cemetery area, we met
her returning home. Her little girl of
about 6 months had the Juayua virus, stomach flu, high fever and respiratory
infection. She could hardly hold her
head up. I sure felt bad for her. She said her daughter had hardly slept all
night. She had gone to the doctor and he
had prescribed some amoxicillin for her.
Seily said that the prescribed that for everyone, especially
children. We said a prayer while on the
road and she headed on home. I drove by
the building as I headed out and Dwaine was at the building, so I waited for
him to be done. For the afternoon,
Nelson came by about 2:30 along with Cesar for some study. He had some questions and they ended up
studying about the end times. Clifton
went out to help Carlos and Ricardo with a seminar that is for all El Salvador
in Sonsonate. They went to the hotel
Agape, but really did not accomplish anything.
So, he returned after too late. I
left about 3 to go to Socorro’s. We had
started a film series, but I didn’t take my computer. I thought we would just visit and catch up on
her visit and our month long sickness….ha!
Anyway, she said she would go to service tonight and that was
great. We ended up with a lots of folks,
over 40 plus children. That was It made
for a busy night because after church I had a ladies’ meeting at the
house. Elisa, Yoli and Linda all came
and we finalized the schedule for the ladies’ event for Central. Eliza left about 9, but the others stayed on
until about 10. It was a night with lots
of blessings.
Caught a butterfly in flight!
