Last day of door knocking. Xiomara and Emily pitched in with the cooking
and everyone comes by and says words of appreciation. I am prayerful that they are encouraged by
our Central members and activities. They
have closed every day to assist, attend and receive visitors. They are amazing. Today we went to Salcoatitan for door
knocking. We went to a different area,
and our group had one good contact, Roxanne.
She was a teacher in Juayua, so she enters the school just across from
our house. Since we had common ground
with Mischaela and me, she invited us in.
Both Mischaela and James shared some verses and comments and that was
super. James swapped with Joanna on the
construction team and it was good to have him on the team. At the end of our road, Carlos and their team
had already arrived. He was talking to a
family and we all made introductions.
The neighborhood children had gathered and John Kuhn had been playing
with them. He relinquished to me and we
had an impromptu English class. They
were all so funny. Carlos made a good
contact and it was a blessing to share the opportunity. The Ladies Event had a great turnout and all
went smooth since we had already done the skit.
Suzie, likewise, had updated some of her slides and was ready to
go. We transitioned straight into the
gospel meeting and that seemed to keep more folks around for the meeting. The dinner afterwards was good with a good
turnout. Everyone was tired, but Dwaine
took some to a coffee shop nearby and some went to Sarita’s for ice cream.
Oops, one casserole hit the floor!
Ready for door knocking in Salcoatitan!
