November 15, 2016

On the run.  8:00 meeting at Salcoatitan to work on upcoming events.  Cesar had visited his grandmother on the other side of San Salvador, so we had quite a drive to get there in time.  At ten, we joined a study with Rolando, Blanca and Ana for the first time.  Our study with Sylvia on Tuesday mornings had ended due to a lack of interest, so we joined this study because this family had asked us to come long.  We studied on until after 12.  We didn’t have long for lunch as I was supposed to pick up Ulma close to 2.  Dwaine and Cesar planned a study with the guys in the church area.  Melvin, Miguel’s brother, came, but he was the only one.  It was a little impromptu, so they were glad to get to have some time with Melvin.  Ulma had helped with a graduation and we talked on the phone and she said that she would not be able to get here.  So, I picked up Regina and we went to Ana’s.  At first no one else was home except Ana Vilma.  She lives down from Ana, and does not sit in on that study.  But when everyone arrived from working in the coffee fields, they sat in on the study.  We finished up about 5 I stopped on the way home and picked up some flowers for Kelly.  Dwaine had about an hour before the study with Don Santos, so we ran up to visit with Kelly and take a light dinner for her family.  She was still ‘under the influence’ of some pain meds and I was worried about what would happen when that wore off.  She had not picked up her antibiotic yet or pain meds, so Dwaine ran did that while I visited.  She did say that Alba had tried to go to the event at Muros and Cristianos on Sunday but could not find it.  I felt so bad about that because I know they would have loved it and it would have been great for a new Christian.  We got back close to 6 and ate a quick dinner.  Don Santos arrived about 6:15 and he and Dwaine studied until about 9.  I worked on class materials for Wednesday and then Dwaine and I walked to Gisela’s after the study.  They were still up, and it was funny.  It is Arnoldo’s week and not Gisela’s.  So, I will see Arnoldo on Wednesday and I will pass the material off then.  We got back home about 9:30 and called it a night.
