Packed.
I was still working on Sunday school packets to hand off to some
teachers, but fortunately finished in time for service. We picked up a huge carload of folks from
Sister Ana’s and it was a sign of things to come. We had a full house for the service and about
17 or 18 children in class. Yesenia had
drawn a beautiful mural of Goliath for the kids and a couple of us ladies
worked to get about 20 plates of snacks prepared for the kids. They were making models of David and Goliath
with celery and other fruits and veggies.
The kids love celery so it was a big treat. After service we took folks home and took a
respite between services. Salcoatitan
also had a good turnout, with some visitors and one family from Ataco. We had also brought another big load from
Sister Ana’s house, so it made for a great service. We are anticipating starting our summer
program on Monday. We had even had one
young lady come to service to register and Claudia Veronica sent word that she
would also come. I was excited to get
that news as I have been trying to rekindle that open door with Flora Marina
and Claudia. We are hoping we will have
close to 20 students here in Juayua!
Monday morning will tell.
Goliath!
We found a turkey for only $65 at Selectos!
No purchase made.....:(
