New
birth! We started the day with a great
study with Mario, Idalia and Jennifer.
They are very appreciative of the study, but quite active in their own
church. This week is full, but we are
going to try to have them over for dinner soon.
Since Mario had been working, we repeated a study on faith and that
caught him up with what we had already covered with Idalia and Jennifer. Afterwards, we went by Briseida’s. The little boy was there, but his parents
were not. We have been working with them
a long time, but they have yet to come to a service. With a little time, we went by the store and
then Dwaine and I walked up to a place that cuts hair. I needed a trim, especially to finish
removing the last of the burned ends from the oven explosion. She was busy, but said come back at
11:30. The lady who cut my hair, named, Alicia,
had a mountain of certificates on her wall.
She seemed quite comfortable and gave me a great scissor cut. She especially worked to get each side
even. That was the problem with my only
other cut here, one side was almost an inch shorter than the other. Arnoldo came for lunch, but Carolina and
Marina did not. We left at 1:20 to meet
everyone for the Miguel’s baptism. We
had two car loads to go to the pool in Ataco.
It was a nice setting and we celebrated this new birth. We had originally met Miguel when we were door
knocking and studied with his mother, Delmy, for a long time. After a time, Cesar and Dwaine continued with
Miguel, his brother Melvin and his cousin Eber.
Hopefully more baptisms will follow.
Eber’s sister also joined us for the baptism and we pray this will open
doors for even more family members. When
we got back to Juayua, Dwaine, Cesar and Arnoldo went on to Sister Ana’s for a
short time together. We picked up a car
load for church and had a great crowd.
Miguel's Baptism
Congratulations!
