Prayer….always a blessing to start the day with
prayer! After the ladies class, we
scheduled a prayer session for Monday morning.
It was a great turnout from sisters.
Several from Apaneca came. We started with a scripture reading and a
great discussion. We covered all the
prayer requests and then prayed again for some current issues as well. Blessings in the body. After some refreshments, we called it a
morning. Ulma wanted to spend some time with
Regina before our afternoon studies so I took them home. At two, I picked Ulma and her young son up
again and we went to visit Vilma. She
was ready for us and we enjoyed our time together, studying baptism. One aspect of the visit is that Vilma’s
mother, Soila, does not live with them and she has not been there for the last
two visits. Hopefully we can reconnect
with her as well. Her husband was there,
but he did not sit in on the study, he cared for Gilma, their 1 ½ year old
daughter. We are praying for open
doors. The group got off for home. Dwaine took Jim to Apaneca in the early
morning and he learned that there were strikes occurring in San Salvador in the
health system and they were marching and blocking roads. Hector had planned other stops in route, but
planned a direct shot. I emailed Lavonne
on in the evening and learned they made it to the airport without any
problems. We were praying all day things
would go well and it was great to hear that they made it.
Gathering for Prayer
Danielito's new mode of travel.
Dwaine found this one....It had already kicked the bucket.
