Beautiful Feet: November 26, 2016

Birthday Party! We were invited to a birthday party for Marcos, husband of Alba. That was great news, because Alba was recently baptized and we are hopeful to reach out to her husband as well. It was a noon event, so we spent the morning preparing Sunday school material, shopping for a gift, preparing some fruit plates and picking up the cake. We got there about 11:45. Cesar and Eliza were also invited and they joined in close to noon. It was really exciting that it was primarily people from church that came. Alba’s sister, Angelica also came with her husband William and their children. I have studied with Angelica some, but she now lives with her husband’s family and they are all very active in a Restoration church. It is also good to keep the door open. It was a nice event and Alba and Marcos’ mother, Magdelina, prepared a huge plate of food. Dwaine shared a couple of tracks with Marcos and hopefully he will read these. We enjoyed the day and left about 3ish. At home we rested a few and then prepared for a dinner. We had Ricardo, Joli, Carlos and Linda over for dinner. It was a good evening, as we were working on some important issues and it was good to have some time to get those things going. We worked on until about 10:30 and then called it a night.
