Meeting. We are planning to host another night for the
young ladies at church, so I invited those who are going to help for lunch.
First we cleaned house all morning and I cooked lasagna, broccoli casserole,
rice, mangos and sweet bread. Well, I
was excited to cook the broccoli because I found all the ingredients fairly easily. Lucky, Rachel and Bessy came. Later, we found out that Joli had tried to
come, but her car quit. Her husband
helped get her car to the garage. I had
ordered the set for Passport 2 Purity and we planned the speakers. I had written a synopsis of each of the
lessons and Lucky touched up my Spanish for me.
It was very encouraging to have so many participants. We will start the first session about 7 on
Friday the 26th of June and finish the last session at 3 in the
morning. I keep thinking I am too old
for all-nighters. Since the tapes are in
English, Lucky will translate Bessy and Joli’s lesson for them. I am so blessed to have her help. We have about 16 girls to invite. We are prayerful that everyone will be able
to come. Afterwards, Dwaine and I
planned to go to Shucutitian for a few studies, but it came a long, heavy
downpour. Bessy said she had another
engagement. One of the studies was
walking up the mountain, so we decided to wait. That made for some much needed
rest, but we were also restless that we were not able to go out. For the evening, we all went to Carlos’s home
for a study. There was a good turnout,
with a few people we did not know. One lady, Graciella, was there. While she is a Christian, she has not come in
a while. I had visited her several times
and Dwaine, Rosamiriam and I had studied with her and her sister several times. That about wrapped up our day.
