Go now! Dwaine and I went our separate ways today. I stayed home with Lucky to work on
preparations for the girl’s seminar.
First, Joli and Ricardo came for breakfast. I tried my hand at a traditional breakfast
with frijoles and cheese and scrambled eggs as the main dish. It was good.
Joli had not come to our first meeting, so we went over all of the
lessons and gave her, her part. Then,
about 11:30, 15 minutes after Joli left, Bessy came for lunch. We tried chicken salad and soup for
this. Bessy had come to the first
meeting, so she did not stay to long.
She had just needed her lesson translated. I had written out English notes from our
audio and Lucky translated in all into Spanish.
That was great. About lunch time,
Dwaine came home. He has gone to
Sonsonate in the early morning to take Zuleyma, the daughter of Regina, to the
doctor. She was getting a sonogram and
is due July 7th. At the
consult, the doctor said that she was 5 cm dilated and she should GO NOW to the
hospital. Zuleyma said no, because she
did not have an appointment. Her
appointment was for Friday, the next day and she did not have an appointment
for today. Crazy. So Dwaine took her back home. Her appointment and doctor for delivery was
in Santa Ana, a different city. Dwaine
and I had planned to take her to the doctor on Friday. So, Dwaine and I stayed in for the afternoon
and then we went to the Bible study at Rosamirdiam at 5:30. Carlos was a few minutes late and we all thought
Dwaine would just teach the lesson. He
had gone to pick up Carolyn, so he got there a few minutes late. We are up to Daniel in our overview of the
Bible. It was a great lesson. I noticed walking home a nice alignment of heavenly bodies, and I thought two were planets. I gave it a look in the internet, and yes, it was Jupiter and Venus. A nice treat.
