We’re ready!
We worked on securing some of my reference letters for Immigration. They are supposed to come next week from San
Salvador for my interview (for the second time). So we are trying to have everything that they
asked for. Both Carlos and Edgardo came
by and helped us. The final letter we
will secure on Sunday. For the afternoon,
we went to Shucutitian with Lucky for several studies. First we went by Natividad. We told her that we found a pool in
Sonsonate, so we are ready when she is ready.
We had a good study with her on Ephesians 2. Mirdna was home, as well as her other
daughter, Bethsaida. We are in prayer
for her decision. Next we went to visit
Teresa, Osmin’s mother from church.
Lucky knew her and they got to talk a few minutes. We kept this study short as she was fixing to
leave to sell tamales that she had just cooked.
Then, we went to visit with Reina.
When we walked up, she said, “It’s a miracle!” We knew she was surprised that all three of
us were out visiting. It was funny. She said if Natividad makes a decision, she wants
to come to the baptism. It was a great
visit. Then we went back to Rosario’s
house. She is also related to Natividad
and was interested in our study progress.
She is so genuine and light-hearted.
We have grown to love so many people and deeply desire to spend eternity
with each one. We dropped by Katherine’s
and just visited a few minutes, as she had a headache. She did say she had permission to come to the
teen activity for the weekend. We
dropped by home for a few minutes, and then on to the Bible study on Thursday
night. There was a good turn out and a
good study by Carlos. On the way, Lucky
asked to take us out to eat in Ataco. We went to a Brazilian type restaurant
and it was really good. We ate upstairs,
but inside since it was a little cool.
It was yummy!
El Brasero restuarant.
Carlos had a speaker loaded to his motorcycle to
advertise the upcoming meeting with a group from
California.
