Zipping along. Caleb said he
wanted to share one big adventure with us while he was here and one life
changing event while he was here. The
life changing event was getting a dog.
(Well, it is life changing when all your kids have flown the coup.) The one big adventure was amazing. We decided to do the Canopies in Apaneca (Zip
lines). So we got up and went to church
in Schututian and Caleb got to see lots of people at the meeting. Then we came back home and changed for the
Zip line. Our next door neighbor knew
the owner of the zip line and he called and got us a discount down to $25
each. We got there at 1:45 for the 2:00
trip. The man there said that there was
a large group that ran late for the last morning group and we would have to
wait until 3:00. We decided to walk
around town for a while and that was pretty neat because we had never seen much
of Apeneca. When we got back to the
place at 3:00 there were several more people and they were loading the group up
on the truck to head out. We were
concerned we would not make it on time but Caleb said it was a once in a
lifetime experience. We had a fantastic
time and were all glad we went. There
were 5 short runs and 8 long runs. We
were concerned that it would rain because it was threatening all the time but
it only started a little as we were on the truck to come back out. Charlotte and I had never done anything like
that but we will have to go again with the other kids when they come. We just made it to the services in Juayua on
time and we did have a good number of the members and visitors to come. Then after services we had pupusas that
Regina and her daughter Elizabeth had cooked and they were delicious.

Caleb doing some selfies on the line.
We laughed til we cried.
What a son!
One last one...Caleb took a picture of insects against the tree
holding the cables. He told the people behind that they were eating the
tree voraciously and the tree could go any time!
Sister Regina and Elizabeth cooked pupusas for everyone Sunday night.
Nice fellowship
Visiting with Lucky
