Senoritas!
Sunday morning I began cooking for the lunch for the teen girls early. I had planned rice and frijoles. I think that is their favorite. When I was well into preparation, Lucky came
down and said the she had been sick all night.
She thought it was something she had eaten. I was sorry that she was unable to go to
Shucutitian to church for she is here for such a short time. There were just a few girls that stayed for
the teens activities and they said that I could just bring rice and beans every
Sunday. They all liked it. They all wanted to go home with me to visit
Lucky. So, I called and she said she was
feeling better. We headed out and they
got in a good visit. We headed out for
Juayua for the evening service and that was a pleasant surprise. For one, Lucky was able to go. For two, except for Daniel, all of the
Azucena family was there. Samuel was
home from the States and he did the preaching!
It was a great lesson. Third, and
best, Nelson, from English class came with his little girl Ruby. He had wanted her to come to the class. It was such a nice crowd and good lesson for
him to hear. We were excited that he was
there. Afterwards, the Azucena’s brought
Samuel a birthday cake and we all enjoyed that!
