All wet! Paulo had told Caleb of a hike the teens and young adults
were having on Saturday morning and since there was not much he could do to
help with the English class he decided to go on the hike. He had a pretty good time but he was supposed
to bring lunch and he did not get that message so he had to get by on a couple
of snack bars that he had. They also
went swimming and he did not get that message so he had no swim trunks and just
had to watch as others had fun in the water.
But the worst part was as they went out to wait for the bus to get back
it started pouring rain and he got soaked along with everything he had with
him, Bible and Passport. He said that
was the wettest he had ever gotten in El Salvador. We were in Juayua but we had given him a
house key so when he got home at least he could take a “hot shower” and raid
the frige. We went on to Juayua at noon
and it was raining all during our class so we did not have many students but at
least the ones we had got some good practice.
Then we went to our study with the coffee family and the man was out
working and so we only got to study with Kelly, the wife. Then we went back over to Regina's for the
5:00 meeting and it was still raining so we did not have any visitor,s so we
just talked about some of the issues we were working on in the church. Then we got to crawl home in the rain but we
made the trip ok and then we got to hear of Caleb's day and have a good dinner
at home.
