August 10, 2016

We made an early morning run to Sister Ana’s and her household.  Many campaigners left clothes and they have a houseful of various sizes, so we wanted to help them out in this way.  We have appreciated the campaigner’s help by leaving some clothes and we have just about all of them distributed.  We also picked up Arnoldo and some skirts went their way as well.  With those stops, we were almost late getting up to Seily’s.  Arnoldo was out of school, so he joined the guys to go to Delmy’s.  Seily and I went to Briseida’s.  We had a good study with her and she had several questions about the Lord’s Supper.  We studied until almost noon and decided we would stop by for visits on in the week with some other, less regular studies.  After lunch, Dwaine, Cesar and Arnoldo went to Sister Ana’s for a devotional and I went to Socorro’s. Carolina was not able to come for her study.  Finally, we ended the day with the Bible class at church.  It was an exciting night because we had some new visitors.  First, one of Clifton’s group had visited with a lady who sold tortillas.  This is where Cesar also had bought tortillas while he was living in that area as well.  The lady did not come, but the young girl did come to the children’s class.  We were sp excited to have her join us.  We were planning our program and she got to learn some new songs and learn a great overview of Creation.  I was doing a class on Noah, so she got a wide variety of lessons.  The second family that came was a person who visited the last Ladies’ Event.  Her name is Vilma and both her daughter and her mother came as well.  How exciting!  Seily and I have been by to visit with this family on Monday, and she said that she could begin a study next week.  Afterwards, George, Ana Vilma, Carolina, Nelson and Ingrid came by our home.  We spent most of the time talking about our trip to Sonsonate on Thursday and confirming their desire to marry.  There were still some clothes to pass on Carolina and Ana Vilma, so we got that done as well.
"Giant" catepillar along the way...
