Mid-morning outing after early morning
cooking. Since we have the preacher’s
event this weekend, I am cooking bread again for a refreshment. Seily and I went to Briseida’s and she had a commitment,
so she couldn’t study. I dropped by
Kelly’s and she said she would bring the rest of the vests for painting tonight
at service. She is doing the sewing for
them all. Dwaine and Cesar went by Delmy’s
but they shifted to afternoon, along with Miguel and another brother. They also went by Mr. Rivas, who has been
coming more regularly. For lunch, we had
both Arnoldo and Carolina. Carolina and
I studied afterwards and Cesar, Arnoldo and Dwaine went to their study and then
on to Sister Ana’s for a devo. After
Carolina, I went on to Socorro’s. We
studied baptism again and visiting on Sunday.
She is always working on Sunday, so she is unable to visit on
Sunday. She is always in my prayers for
understanding. We did walk down to her
home to see her puppies. She has a cross
between a pit bull and boxer. The female
had puppies two weeks ago and she had 11!
Six are still living and they are all fatties! They sure were cute. Afterwards we did a round of pickups and went
to the service. We had a good turnout.
The children practiced for the program on Sunday. Most know their parts all about
ready. Linda came in and joined us and
helped us practice! After church Linda, Eliza and I had a meeting until 10 to plan for September and October. October 1 is Children's Day, so we are going to plan a special day for mom's and children with skits, crafts and games!
