Trip out.
We went by Hector’s this morning in Apaneca to pick up some Bibles. He told us he had some that we could have to
give to people. We had given all our
Bibles away that the group had brought last year and sometimes we study with
people who do not have a Bible. So, we
wanted to find a few. We looked last
week when we were in San Salvador, but were unable to locate anything that would
work. Dwaine was also looking for a
study Bible, but we didn’t have any success there. We were thankful for Hector and Rachel to
help us with the Bibles. Next, we went
on to Shucutitan where we stopped by to visit with Edgardo and Maritza, but
they were not home. Next, we went to Ahuachapán
to look for wedding items in Dollar City and Selectos. On the way back home we stopped by Ataco and
then back by Shucutitan. Martiza was
home, so we had a good visit. Home for
lunch and then we had scheduled a visit with a Xiomara and a friend of hers,
Carlita. It was exciting to have a new
member want to share the gospel with her friends. Emilet also joined us and we had a great
visit, for about two hours. She has a
religious background from a church that was started in El Salvador, but was not
currently going anywhere. Afterwards, we
went to Xiomara’s and visited with their family until almost a quarter til
6. The evening study was at 6, so we
husseled to get there on time. Socorro
joined us and then we met George and Ana Vilma walking, so they jumped in. It all came together and we arrived a little
before 6. Seily and Mario had a house
full and it was great to be with them.
Seily had fixed an ice cream, jello dessert and we topped it off with
some cookies. We had lots of visit time
and it was great to have Rolando, Blanca, Blanca’s sister, Eber, Michael and
Celia to come, along with George and Ana Vilma and lots of members. It was blessed evening.
Bible Study at Seily and Mario's home.
