Out for studies. We picked up Cesar and then met Seily close
to nine. Dwaine and Cesar went to Delmy’s,
but she was not home. They reset the
study for the afternoon and went on to Eber’s and Mr. Rivas. Mr. Rivas has been coming regularly for quite
some time now. Seily and I first went to
Claudia Veronica’s and she was home, but washing. We reset her study for Friday morning and
walked on to Briseida’s. She wasn’t
home, but her young son, Alex was home.
He said she had gone out to do some buying. We walked on down and called for Vilma. That was funny. She was washing clothes so she couldn’t study,
but she asked if we came on Monday. Yes,
we had swam there during the heavy rain.
She said she was home, but didn’t hear us. We were not surprised because a heavy rain on
laminate is really loud. But it was a
good ‘short’ visit. So, I dropped Seily
off and across the street, and Kelly was heading out with Nicole. So, I picked her up and we went to the market
to drop off a canvased picture Jose had made for someone. I got to meet two ladies in the market and
one used the canvas to embroider. She
had done Mickey and Minnie Mouse and then some characters on Toy Story. They were really cute. I dropped them back off and went home. Dwaine came in shortly afterwards and we
worked about an hour. Arnoldo comes to
lunch on Wednesday, so I just asked Carolina if she wanted to come on early and
eat with us too. So, Carolina and I
studied and Dwaine and Arnoldo and Cesar left for Delmy’s. They also went to Sister Ana’s for a
study. After Carolina, I walked to Socorro’s
and then we went to church for the evening.
We used half the class to practice the creation lines and songs for the
service. Gisela joined us for the class
because she really likes to work with children.
I would love to get someone I could swap with on Wednesday’s. I have taught that class since arriving and
would like to go to the main class to be with some of the visitors at
times. We will see how that develops. It rained hard, but mostly cleared by the
end. Dwaine had a short meeting
afterwards and I took Sister Ana’s family home.
I don’t really like going to her home at night by myself, but it was
fine. Dwaine was already done when I
finished so I drove and met him so he didn’t have to walk all the way home in
the rain.
