We participated in our Sunday service here in
Juayua with members and visitors. I was
back to teaching this Sunday and Linda came in for a short time. We are planning a program to demonstrate creation
days at the end of the month, so we began learning a song and gave out
parts. I am going to help sew the
costumes along with Kelly and Seily.
That is exciting to work with so many.
Linda is amazing in her talents to guide the children. Time is short, so I hope all will come
together. For the afternoon, Dwaine and
I went back to see if Edgar was home. He
was Clifton’s group contact that could speak English. He was home this week and he could speak good
English. He invited us in and we visited
for almost an hour. He had lived in the
States when he was about 10 for a few years.
He seems to be very busy, teaching English in a school and teaching an
aerobics class in a local gym in the evenings.
He said that he was usually home on Sunday’s so we could come by. He did say he was going to a church, but we
are very close for them and we are hopeful his wife, Rachel and his son, Edgar
will visit. Next we went to Salcoatitan
for their service. I was teaching the
children there as well, so it is a very busy time for teaching. There series is different, so it is a
different preparation. Carlos, just
posts a verse, so preparation is left up to the individual on points to focus
on. I really like that freedom. Afterwards, we watched the new Tarzan. Dwaine had found the DVD in the market, so we
gave it a go.
