This morning we were scheduled to meet Cesar at the school to talk to the director so we could ask about having a class party after the sessions in December and to look at the classrooms if possible.  We also had the big day of cooking coming up tomorrow (Friday) so we had to get all the food we needed for that.  We went walking from the house with Wicket.  We have gone several times around the corner that is just past our house and then down the road into town and a couple of blocks in the shopping district.  The only negative is that we have a steep hill to go down as we head out and then have to climb back up it at the end when we are already a little tired.  It does take a lot less time than driving to town in the car, walking and then driving back.  After our walk we went to Selectos and spent 30 minutes finding everything we needed.  We were concerned we would be late for the meeting at the school but we got there right on time and Cesar was waiting outside.  The director was not in so we said we would try to come back tomorrow early before everyone arrived.  Charlotte headed back home with all the groceries and I went with Cesar to study with Mario.  We had a good study but like several we have run into, he says how much he has gotten from the studies and how much it has helped him but still unwilling to make the move to become a Christian.  When we got back to Cesar's house I told him that I would like to walk home from there to get more exercise.  We had hoped to have another study with Omar and his sisters in the afternoon and when I walked past he was out but Emily said she thought they would be able to come.  Then after lunch Omar called and said they would not be able to make it after all.  I think they are just too involved in their church and family ties to be willing to really examine anything different.  I may try to drop some material by for him to consider but we will probably not pressure them to study again after two cancelations at the last minute in a row.  They have also not attened the Saturday English classes or any services now for a while.  Just have to keep searching.  We considered calling Cesar to see if he wanted to door knock a couple of hours but it looked so rainy we decided against it.  Sure enough, it rained pretty heavy most of the afternoon.  We rested some and worked on getting ready for our big day off on Friday.
