Meeting is a
go. We decided the previous week to move
ahead with our Juayua/Salcoatitan meeting even though we had church meetings
Saturday and Sunday that were 6 hours each plus travel time. We had a lot to cover, so it was good to go
ahead. First, we planned dates and
activities for events for both cities.
There will be a children’s game day and with a lesson for the
ladies. The Salcoatitan day will be Friday,
November 20th and the Juayua day will be Tuesday, November 24th. We are recruiting some youth to help with the
children and Joli and I will teach the ladies class. It is exciting to get this going. The second agenda item was to work on the
English and Values classes that will be offered in the schools. It looks like both classes in each city will
be three weeks. We are planning to add
one more additional day for a party and small graduation. After working through many bullets for each
activity, it was lunchtime, so we adjourned.
For the afternoon, Dwaine and I worked on our marriage class, finalizing
content and translations. Dwaine went
from 2 to 4 to the bank to open an account with Cesar and Sister Regina for the
church. While they had planned to have
three people on the account, needing two signatures for withdrawals, it ended
with all three signatures being needed.
That will have to be a change for another day. At five, we went to Raul and Ana’s for a
study. Ana was a little late, for their
son, Josue had to go to the doctor with an ear infection. We stopped on the way home at Selectos for a
few items for some desserts for the studies scheduled on Tuesday.
Nice views from Raul and Ana's Home
