Last day of
classes. Friday is our last class day
but also the day of the monthly preacher’s meeting. Of course, Charlotte, Cesar and I did not go
this time but several of our native translators did as well as David and Matt
and Eva did not come from Ahuachapan so we had no translators for the English
classes so we all just stayed at the class for the morning. Charlotte had to go out with Rodney to work
on the graduation certificates so I studied with Elsa until she got back. Then she took back over and I just helped
translate as needed. In the afternoon
she went with Jim and Cesar to study with Kelly and Jose so that was good. I stayed at the classes again. After she got back we ran the leftover food
over to the family of the man with the broken leg. Sunday afternoon we are going to take them a
bag of food with the group. At 4 we went
to the Pizza Bake in Juayua and had our fill of pizza. We had under ordered so we ordered 4 more and
by the time they were ready we had to just take them with us. But that was great because we had pizza to
eat and share after the evening service.
When we got to Regina’s we walked over with the group and took a bag of
food to the home of the policeman who lives across from Regina. He was not home but his wife and kids
were. We invited them to church but did
not expect them to come since we started at 5 and it was already time to
start. But they did so that was
great. Daniel spoke on the meaning of
being a Christian and had some major competition most of the time from a huge
rain storm. After the services we let
the group give a bag of food to the families of Regina and Pedro, Rosalidia and
Jose (our new brother) and also to Nelson.
We took pictures and had a great time of sharing.
