Alone
again-briefly. Today we took Lucky to
the airport for her return to the states.
It was amazing how the month with her flew by. She wanted to take us out to breakfast on our
last morning so we got ready to leave about 8 am. She said she did not like good byes so she
was not going to try to see anyone on her last day here. Well, Carlos and Linda and kids dropped by
about 7:30 to make sure she did not get away with that. We enjoyed getting to know Lucky better and
she has many close friends here and I am sure she will really be missed. We stopped for breakfast at Celestial Gardens
and it was nice plus we got to buy some avocados from a brother who was selling
them there as well as to speak to Katherine’s mother who is a waitress
there. Then we headed on to the airport
and had a bite to eat at the airport restaurant while we waited for time for
Lucky to go through security. I told her
she was like a wart because she really grew on people. After we left the airport we went to Wal Mart
for a few more items that we needed for the group’s arrival. We make it back home just before 5 and were so
worn out that we decided not to go to the evening campaign meeting. About 5 Hector came in for a few minutes, he
was here to pick up the people from the campaign who were working at the school
across from our house. After he went
over to get them they came in for a few minutes and got something to drink and
use the restroom. We were glad we were
home because we had missed them the day before because we were in Juayua until
after 7. After a little skyping we went
on to bed-worn out.
Lucky's good-bye with Carlos, Linda and family.
