One more
day. There is just one more day until
our son and Huntsville group arrives. That is amazing. We are in the mindset of ‘Ready or not, here
they come.’ Actually, we feel as
prepared as possible, but just uncertain since this is our first time to host a
group. Shucutitian said their good-byes
to the Corona, California group Sunday morning.
So, there was a church full.
Afterwards, I stayed with the teen girls. They were trying to learn “He
is Holy” so Dwaine and I sang it in English for them. Dwaine has a bad cold, so it is hard for him
to sing and talk much without coughing. One
of the girls, Karla, let the study and it was great. She did the class on “love.” It was great to
see one of the girls lead. They asked me
if I would be willing to take just a car full of the sisters to a hot springs
about an hour away. So we are going to
work on that. After the meeting, we went
home and made a market run for some fresh veggies for the group. Then, we went on to Juayua for the evening
service. Charlie, from Santa Ana, led
the study, and it went great. It was
good having our new brother, Jose, with us.
One student from English class, Nelson, and his daughter, Ruby, came. It
was a house full. Of course we made one
last go to Selectos for some items.
Good-bye to the Corona, California group.
