Going strong
day 2 of campaign. We had a great second
day of English classes. The teachers are
doing an unbelievable job with manipulates, organization, interaction, work
distribution, relationships, eagerness…and eventually I will run out of
adjectives. But, let me say each one is
making Christ evident to those who are visiting. Jim had another advanced student so he was
able to have a Bible study. We have had
students come from our regular English class and one student from an ongoing
Bible study. Dwaine and I take turns
staying with the English students and evangelizing, so we are trying to build
relationships with the students as well.
Of course we have 11 campaigners, but total we have about 25 a day with
local workers as well. It has been a
tremendous blessing to have the support of so many. Several travel each day from other cities to
help us out. Dwaine evangelizes in the
morning so I can stay and be sure lunch is ready and I go out in the
afternoon. Wednesday I went with Clifton
and Fernando and Katherine from Ahuachapan.
Clifton got in lots of Spanish practice.
Afterwards we ate dinner and headed for the evening service while a
small group headed to Santa Katerina Massahuat for a seminar. We had three visitors at the evening service
and Dwaine had the opportunity to talk to Nelson about studying. He is working on a good time, and will let us
know . Clifton preached on the Holy
Spirit and he got lots of great comments from the El Salvadorians. For the kids, I finished up peace and
patience on the fruit of the Spirit.
Everyone stayed around and visited for quite a while. Then, we went by Selectos for our final run
and then home. We are both really tired,
so we tried to get to bed by 10.
